Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and Amuse8 (the "Company," "we," or "us") in connection with the use of the U.S. and Korean economic news short-form video and card-style content platform (the "Service") developed by the Company.

Article 1 — Purpose and Definitions

1. Purpose

These Terms are intended to define the conditions and procedures for using the Service provided by the Company, as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, and any other necessary matters.

2. Definitions

Article 2 — Provision of the Service

The Service is a digital news platform that delivers U.S. and Korean economic news through short-form video and card-style content.

Service Content

• U.S. and Korean economic news short-form videos (approximately 60 seconds each)
• Card-style news summary content
• Global market information
• An AI assistant for asking questions about news articles (login required)
• Social login, account management, and syncing of followed sectors and language settings
• News content sharing features

Article 3 — Protection of Personal Information

The protection of personal information is governed by a separate Privacy Policy, which applies together with these Terms.

Article 4 — Third-Party Advertising Measurement

The Company may use measurement tools provided by third parties in order to measure and improve the performance of advertising for the Service. The collection, transfer, and use of information through those tools are governed by the Privacy Policy. On iOS, Apple's optional App Tracking Transparency permission is requested separately, and refusing it does not restrict the user's access to the Service.

Article 5 — AI Assistant

• The AI assistant is an informational feature intended to help users understand news articles and learn general economic and investing concepts. It is not a solicitation to invest or individual investment advice
• AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or out of date, and the Company does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. Users are responsible for their own investment decisions and the results of those decisions
• To operate the Service, the Company may limit the number of questions per account and the length of a conversation, and may change the limits or the availability of the feature without prior notice
• Requests unrelated to the purpose of the Service, requests to generate unlawful or harmful content, automated or repetitive questioning, and attempts to circumvent usage limits or safety measures are prohibited, and the Company may restrict use of the AI assistant in the event of a violation
• Information processed when using the AI assistant is governed by the Privacy Policy

Article 6 — Rights and Responsibilities of Users

1. User Rights

• The right to use the Content provided through the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes
• The right to submit inquiries and complaints regarding the Service
• The right to optionally create, use, log out of, or delete an account
• Rights relating to the protection of personal information

2. User Responsibilities

• Using the Content provided through the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• When using account or profile information, not infringing others' rights or registering false information
• Refraining from any act that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable laws while using the Service
• Where a violation is confirmed, the Company may restrict or block use of the Service without prior notice

Article 7 — Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited while using the Service:

• Unauthorized collection, storage, or disclosure of another person's personal information
• Unauthorized use of another person's account or social login information
• Distributing content related to obscenity, hate speech, or illegal activity
• Spamming for advertising purposes
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Infringing the intellectual property rights of others, such as copyrights or trademarks
• Spreading false information or defaming others

Article 8 — Modification and Suspension of the Service

• The Service may be modified or terminated due to technical needs or policy changes
• The Company will provide advance notice of any changes to the Service and may provide notice afterward where unavoidable
• As a general rule, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, year-round, but may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, technical issues, or similar causes

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

• The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising in connection with the use of the Service, except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence
• The Company shall not be liable for any restrictions on use of the Service caused by the user's device environment, network failures, or similar causes
• The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of news content provided by third parties

Article 10 — Intellectual Property Rights

• The copyrights to all Content provided within the Service, including text, images, and UI, belong to the Company or its partners, and unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited
• Users may not arbitrarily modify or distribute the provided Content
• Copyrights to third-party content belong to the respective rights holders

Article 11 — Amendment of the Terms

• These Terms may be amended in accordance with Service policy, changes in applicable laws, or similar reasons
• Any amendment will be announced 7 days before it takes effect, and if a user does not agree, the user may discontinue use of the Service

Article 12 — Dispute Resolution

• The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to any dispute arising in connection with these Terms
• If a lawsuit is filed over a dispute arising from use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall be the competent court
